Orientation and convocation

This event takes place in late May or early June and provides you with information you'll need for your time abroad. You'll meet program administrators and your fellow students, learn about all the requirements and deadlines you need to be aware of, and get introduced to the ins and outs of the Service Requirement and special opportunities for Federal employment.

In recent years, the Program Orientation and Convocation has taken place in Washington, D.C. Keynote speakers have included members of Congress and government officials with key responsibility for foreign policy.
